Charlotte Alexander Charlotte Alexander is a retired educator in the Lexington City School System. She came to Lexington from Portsmouth, Va in 1969 and taught second grade at Harrington Waddell Elementary School for 32 years. She taught summer school, was a Girl Scout Leader, on the Board of Directors at Yellow Brick Road and many other boards. After retirement in 2000, she substituted at the two Lexington City Schools and taught a Pre-K class at YBR.
Marylin Alexander As a lifelong resident of Lexington, except for the four years attending an HBCU, Virginia State University as a Sociology major, her life has been devoted to giving back to a community that enriched her life through family, neighborhood, school, and church. She has invested years in helping others with employment, social services support, affordable housing, public school advocacy and as a member of the Lexington City Council, there are a plethora of challenges faced to help make this an even better community to live, work and play in.
Laurent Boetsch Laurent Boetsch is retired from the faculty at Washington and Lee University after 40 years devoted to the liberal arts and its emphasis on  preparing students for active citizenship.  His interest in the Lexington/Rockbridge area schools dates back to the education of his two daughters, both products of our public schools. His experience explains his commitment to diversity in all facets of the educational process as an essential factor in ensuring the highest quality education for the most students.
Patrick Bradley Patrick Bradley, a member of the Rockbridge NAACP, has been a school teacher for 29 years, with 20 of those years at Rockbridge County High School. He is the faculty moderator at RCHS for several student clubs, including STAND (STudent Alliance for Non-Discrimination) and SAGA (Sexuality And Gender Awareness). He has been a member of the Lexington Planning Commission for 7 years, serving three terms as chair.
Roger Crockett Roger is a Professor of German at Washington and Lee University. He is in his first year as chair of the Education Committee of the Rockbridge NAACP and an ex-officio member of the Irma Thompson Board. Additionally, he serves on the Board of United Way of Rockbridge, where I am co-chair of the Allocations Committee.
Reginald A. Early Rev. Early is the President of Rockbridge County NAACP. He is serving the Shenandoah Charge as senior pastor (In Retirement). Rev. is a graduate of Norfolk State University (B.A.; M.A.) and the Interdenominational Theological Seminary. (M.Div)
Ellen Mayock Ellen Mayock is co-founder and a board member of 50 Ways Rockbridge. She is also active in the Rockbridge NAACP. Mayock is a long-time educator in the area and parent of alumni/ae of local school systems.
Tinni Sen Tinni Sen is a Professor of Economics at the Virginia Military Institute. She serves on the board of 50 Ways Rockbridge and The Walker Entrepreneurship Program and is active in the Rockbridge NAACP. She has served in various capacities, including President, of the Rockbridge County PTSA.
Stephanie Wilkinson  Stephanie Wilkinson is an entrepreneur and business owner in Lexington, Va. She is a founding board member of several local initiatives, including 50 Ways Rockbridge, an activist organization and information hub, and The Harry Lee & Eliza Bannister Walker Entrepreneurship Program, dedicated to training, funding, and supporting Black-owned businesses in the Rockbridge area.
